It’s been hot and sticky out, and all I want is something sweet, creamy and cold…
I’ve been craving ice cream and cake lately. I don’t know why, it just sounds really, really tasty. So I coasted through the internet looking for some yummy icebox cakes that I think are worth trying. With literally no baking or cooking required (I’m all about that!) the icebox cake is extremely easy to prepare, making it my number one summer dessert choice.
Think about it… those tender cake layers with creamy cool filling, seasonal fruit, or chocolatey flavors melting in your mouth… YUM, not to mention perfect for hosting. Go ahead and run through my favorite varieties of icebox cakes that will let you spend more time staying cool with friends instead of in front of a hot oven.
