About,Beautiful on the Inside

Meet The New Team!

I feel so lucky! I’ve got some of the coolest ladies working with me on My Daily She.

You already know the beautiful ginger, Jo. She’s my fantastic editor, working out of Utah. She’s been working with me for over a year and has been such a loving support the minute she stepped in. Without fail, she’s always been flexible helping me with all my crazy posts.  She’s expecting her third sweet little boy, so be sure to wish her a big congrats!

I’m super excited to introduce you to the newest team members to My Daily She. Meet Jessica and Lindsay!! If you haven’t guessed, these stunning beauties are sisters born and raised right here in MN. It just so happens we all live super close to each other, too! These fun ladies are like hot fudge and whipped cream to my ice cream. They bring so much knowledge and talent and are helping me take My Daily She to a new level!

Jessica is a Graphic Designer, Marketing Specialist, Mom, Wife, Sunday School Director and the My Daily She Marketing Specialist. By day, Jessica is a freelance Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist.

Nights and weekends however, her suburban dream is consumed by a strikingly handsome husband and two beautiful girls. Cooking, cleaning, and the invigorating rush of 5% Redcard savings + cartwheel discounts within the hallowed aisles of Target occupy her so called “free time,” yet she wouldn’t have it any other way.

On top of that she’s responsible for all the social media ads, campaigns and additional sales and marketing for the blog.

When she isn’t running her household in a deadline induced panic; she enjoys a great cup of coffee, chocolate, camping, agate collecting, and spending quality time with close friends and family.

Lindsay is a Software Engineer, Mom/chauffeur, Wife, Sunday School Director, and the My Daily She IT Specialist.

Day job: Independent software engineer.
Nighttime & weekends: Superwoman! Wrangling two kids, tidying the house, cooking, tidying the house, laundry, wrangling kids…(you get the idea).
On top of that she’s responsible for how the blog runs and flows. She figures out how to load all my crazy requests and make it look good.
“When I can find my slivers of free time I enjoy watching a few TV shows (The Great British Baking Show, The Handmaid’s Tale), crafting, cooking (Soup Mondays!) and spending time outdoors with my family.”
We had so much fun taking pictures near downtown Minneapolis! Even though it was a really cold the day when we took photos, these girls powered through it like pros and we all had a blast together.  All of our mouths hurt from laughing and smiling way too much. A couple times Jessica and Lindsay received a “Congratulations” as I posed them together. I don’t think they noticed the family resemblance.
Didn’t quite make it into the shot in time! Ha!
Almost got there in time… but not really…
Lindsay said, “It was fun to be downtown, seeing new places with Melessa. It felt like an adventures, but it was still pretty cold. The whole experience was out of my comfort zone, but Melessa made it a lot of fun.”

Jessica said, “It was such a blast! Melessa planned such a fun trip, taking photos like this. I can honestly say this was a first. Knowing Melessa it may not be the last.”

After the cold photoshoot I took them to one of my favorite little spots to have lunch over in North East Minneapolis: Brasa! Yummy!

I think the pictures of the food speak for them selves, don’t you? It goes without saying, Brasa was yummy! The food there is always amazing. We came away all warm with happy full bellies.

I feel so fortunate to be working with such a wonderful team! Thank you so much ladies! Just getting to know the amazing women you are has made this whole blog experience so worth it!

XOXO

Melessa

Love it! Congrats ladies, I wish you the best. Side note…where do you guys find jeans that fit in the knees? all my “skinny” jeans always stretch out in the knees and it drives me nuts, and I don’t have big knees.
