If you’ve never been to Minneapolis, MN, you are missing out! This city has so many different little pockets of charming neighborhoods, events (all year round), gift shops galore, yummy bakeries and restaurants. So today I’m focusing on the North Loop district in Minneapolis. This is just one location of many in Minneapolis. St. Paul is its twin city just next door, and I’ll have to do more posts in and around that area because that too is an amazing city full of gems! Here are a few of my favorite shops in the North Loop.
My head is actually spinning, because there are great shops outside the cities, too. So… I’ll have to do shops in small towns and suburbs all through MN. It’s crazy and awesome that there are endless locations to explore throughout this state.

You can find the North Loop by Interstate 94 to the west, Interstate 394 and Hennepin Avenue to the southeast and the Mississippi River to the northeast. Some sections in the North Loop are part of the Warehouse District in Minneapolis.

I drag my husband down here to shop a couple times a year. Not for me, we shop for him! He hates shopping, it is definitely not his favorite pastime. This area has a few fabulous clothing stores just for men, and even better they have tailors that know what they’re doing and offer good advise.

Many people wear clothing that doesn’t fit them properly (too big or too tight). Or, it’s not flattering for their shape. I see it all the time. Don’t be intimidated by a store like this. Honestly, this store’s prices are similar to a Nordstrom. It’s very beautiful inside and it’s total eye candy for those that love decor. Check it out! Martin Patrick 3
Another great men’s store is Askov Finlayson.

This is where Nate and I try out new Warby Parker glasses.

If the man in your life loves color, this store has an array of colors and patterns. It’s a fun place to check out. Their ties are a lot of fun!
One more men’s store is Atmosfere.

Upstairs Circus
This is a cute place to be social, sign up to make fun crafts and have a beverage or two.

I love this shop! You might catch me in here from time to time. 😉

I love this area. The shopping is so fun (even if you’re just window shopping). The food around here is great, too! Oh! If you like food (who doesn’t?!) and you want to taste a little bit of everything you can sign up for food tours in this area. Here’s the link: Twin Cities Food Tours. To “stay in the loop” check out this site: northloop.org for fun events happening all the time.
Have a great weekend!

August 17, 2018 at 6:32 pmI’ve been to almost all the shops you listed (including Upstairs Circus) and I agree, it’s such a great area of the city, lots of wonderful variety packed in a small, walkable area. I love MN!
