I had so much fun setting up this Easter table setting. I already had a bunch of extra Easter eggs, so I thought this would be a great way to put them on display.

Yes, I admit. I might be a bit of an egg hoarder. You can never have too many Easter eggs.
There are so many color combos out there that you can have fun with. For me, I decided to go with softer pastels with a few pops of pink, blue and gold.
When doing a festive table, think layers! As I’ve mentioned over and over, layers are so important. It gives this table so much texture and dimension.
I love the symbolism and character that the palms bring to the table. The ferns were used as filler between the eggs to make them look more nested. The rich green all together gives this table a freshness of life, renewal, and energy. A fitting color for Spring and Easter.
Note how I purposefully chose different sized eggs. This gives the arrangement a lot of depth. This idea came to me after staring at a pile of rocks and noticing how beautiful the layered colors look all piled together.

I used my great grandmother white table cloth and I layered it with a natural table runner and natural weaved plate chargers. Then I placed the palms on each side, added the ferns, added another fern as my centerpiece and began layering the eggs. I wanted a little touch of shine, so I spray-painted some candy eggs gold because I couldn’t find any solid gold foil wrapped chocolate.

If you don’t want to spray paint eggs you can find these cute metallic candies instead at Target.

I LOVE butterflies. If you haven’t noticed, I use them all year round even on my Christmas tree. So for me, it was mandatory that they were resting on a fern in this design. More importantly, butterflies and eggs are known to be as a symbol of resurrection and hope.

My finishing touch was adding different Names of the Messiah. Whether you are Christain or not, the symbolism behind this table is life, hope, and love.

Setting the table up went really quick. I didn’t need to make anything. Everything was found at Target and Micheals. I personally loved the palms at World Market so I made a special trip to get those.
Here’s where to buy the supplies.

The best part is the surprise you can put inside the eggs. Place fun candies, little gifts or notes inside the eggs for your family and guests to enjoy after your Easter meal. It adds an interactive element to the meal that all ages will love.
