You remember that show Full House? I never missed an episode! I loved that show and Who’s The Boss! I couldn’t get enough of them. That house was just recently on the market in May and photos were released showing it’s new renovations. And I am just loving what Jeff Franklin (the creative and executive director of Full House) did inside!
This 3,728-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bath classic Victorian was originally built in 1882 in Lower Pacific Heights, CA. This house has experienced some really big changes! It has undergone a complete 21st-century redo and I can’t stop looking at each photo. I love a good transitional look and this house is all about that! But, before we jump into the 2019 look let’s view a few before shots first.
Here’s the shot from 1987 we all know and love.

Here’s what the house looked like up until 2016.

There are some original details that still remain, such as the ornate moldings, high ceilings and those stunning Corinthian columns as you walk towards the front doors. They took down walls and turned the space into an open floor plan, added more window and skylights to brighten the space, wide-plank hardwood floors and freshed up the bathrooms with sleek contemporary tiles. The kitchen… Oh that drool worthy kitchen… was transformed with marble, a rich royal blue paint.

Are you guys drooling all over that kitchen as much as I am?!!! I’m so in love with that layout and all that trim! I actually wanted pendants like those for my kitchen, but they ended up being over my budget, so I passed.

This house, is priced at $5.99 million. Jeff Franklin, purchased the house in 2016 for around $4 million. He wanted to make adjustments to the exterior first so it resembled the sitcom home with light gray paint, white trim and red front door (though the doors were recently changed to black), so fans could still continue to stop and take photos of the home.
So many photos, but I didn’t want to skip over any.
What do you think of the new look? What’s your favorite part of the house?
XO
Melessa
