I hate wasting things and throwing things out just because they are old. I’m all about DIY’s and clever solutions to repair and repurpose items that you still love. Don’t misunderstand: I am NOT a hoarder and there is certainly a time to let go of some items. But, there is a lot of creative problem solving that can be done to make things look even better and more attractive than they were before.
Check out these awe-inspiring “Stitch Fix” solutions that Better Homes and Gardens came up with to reduce waste.
I just got my Better Homes and Gardens March 2020 magazine this week and I am so in love with these clever ideas! I had to share them with you. I’m personally in LOVE with the pillow cases and socks.

So cute!

I’m already regretting getting rid of some of my socks.

Trend Alert… Ferns are EVERYWHERE! I’ve always loved them.
If you’re finished mending and embroidering your favorite socks, use your extra embroidery floss to make some art for your walls. These embroidered ferns look so beautiful!

Do you guys love these ideas as much as I do?
Which are your favorites?

February 28, 2020 at 9:04 amI love this! My 6 year old and 4 year old have holes in almost all their pants as we’re coming to the end of the winter. I like the idea of not only patching them up but also making them a little cuter!

February 28, 2020 at 1:04 pmI agree. I think the final outcome is way cuter, especially for kids!!
