The catalog is done and I feel like I can finally exhale. I finished my porch and now I’m scrambling to finish my Christmas decor inside. It’s a good thing I got all the shopping done early.
This year the winter has been so beautiful, at least around my house… So, I wanted to keep that wintery frost theme going on my porch with a few little woodland characters.

The boys and I love this owl, especially when it’s windy. He comes to life when the wind blows and his fur rustles all over. He watches over our house through the holidays for us. I added the gold bulbs to my wreath this years so it had a little more pop of contrast against the silver and white.

The branches are spray painted silver and my foliage is a frosted white. I added a touch of gold for a little warmth.

For the other branches on the porch I added little gold bulbs to give off a dangling earring effect.

The white vintage deer are my great grandmothers. I love adding little details like these in my arrangements, it encourages the viewer to take a longer look at all the layers.

I love butterflies! So, I decided to add wintery butterflies for an added whimsical effect. I think it makes the arrangement feel more magical.

It’s detailed, yet simple and light.

Next week I’ll be posting the inside of my house. Stay tuned!
Happy Holidays!
XOXO,
Melessa
